Yesterday's Dream, Today's Technology

It is difficult to foresee the future, however Yealmbridge Yachts have a few new projects on the drawing board.
One is a very fast classic runabout that will we hope quench the thirst for the discerning client who’s love and interest in the retrospective can be satisfied.
At around thirty feet in length she will turn heads wherever she shows her distinguished and distinctive lines.
I hesitate to use a certain Mediterranean comparison but she will be at home as a tender to a super yacht or as a weekend runabout.

Another project about to start is the rebuild of Alert, a Luke Brothers Hamble One design. Built originally around 1920 and found languishing in a car park next to the sea front in Dorset she was being battered by winter storms she was rescued then taken by road to the yard in Newton Ferrers where she has been waiting for attention.
Having recently obtained all of the build specs from a 1913 copy of Yachting Monthly I can now start the restoration.
I hope she will be ready in a year or so after which she will be competing in the local Wednesday evening races
